Well almost. This week has been pretty much a no-go in terms of forcing myself out of the comfort of my own home and wearing anything other than pj's or tracky bottoms so hence no new outfit posts. However I've had this set of photos from almost a year ago sat on my laptop just crying out to be made use of, so I thought I'd post them finally to fill a bit of the gap. These were taken back when I was still living in Newcastle and my dad came up one day and took me to Bamburgh Castle in Northumberland. It's situated right on the coast surrounded by sprawling countryside on one side and vast seascapes on the other, so it's safe to say it's a pretty impressive place to visit. The castle itself dates as far back as the 11th century, I believe, but has been built onto and adapted ever since so the style within is more in keeping with the 18th and 19th centuries which, for me, was slightly disappointing as I'm a real sucker for proper medieval castles, but its still an amazing place to visit all the same.
1 & 2: Castle exterior; 3 & 4: The father and I; 5, 6, 7, 8 & 9 More exterior shots; 10 & 11: Furniture/ceramics, don't you think the pale yellow oriental jars are so SS12, no? 12: The good-old mirror shot (pun not intended); 13: Tapestry that I think was woven by Russian prisoners, if I remember correctly?; 14: More furniture; 15: Have a weird fascination for medieval/old weaponry, apparently it seems they could never have too many variations on the spear head; 16 & 17: The Victorian kitchens, I somehow look as though I would fit right in? 18, 19 & 20: The outfit - Rings: Topshop & ASOS; Shirt dress: New Look; Under dress: ASOS; Coat: Topshop; Bag: ASOS; Boots: Debenhams.

I love your outfit!

Love these images! Were these taken in Tynemouth? The market there is incredible. Hope you're doing okay back at home! There was a fire engine outside the Design building on Friday. Drama drama drama.
ReplyDeletep.s., I can see why you moved out of Camden Court! It's a living nightmare. x
Thankss! Noo I never went to Tynemouth unfortunately! Yeahh I'm doing alright I guess, severely lacking in stuff to do though but it's a welcome change from not having various things to worry about! Ha sounds exciting, or at least it is in comparison to just an uneventful day at uni haha.
DeleteOh dear, well I was in Quay Point but I can imagine it would be pretty much the same as Camden Court. My mum reckons halls are just like zoo's housing students instead of animals haha, she's not far off if you ask me!
